this x'mas plan... LONDON ^^

Once 26th December rolls around, it's time to hit the shops and see what the Boxing Day sales in London have to offer. Forget Christmas presents, it's all about the bargains now.

it's the boxing day in 2009... but i hope it will be even happening this year... cos im gonna to shoppe.... lol
Boxing Day Sales 2009
Although the Boxing Day sales start in December, people tend to call them the January sales are they go on for most of that month. But if you leave it till January to get to the shops, all the very best bargains could well be gone by then, so grab your wallet and your Christmas money and head to the stores for some serious retail therapy.

Harrods
The mother of all sales, the Harrods Boxing Day sale kicks off the spending spree with a celebrity opening on Boxing Day itself. With all kinds of expensive goodies reduced to bargain prices, there is sure to be plenty here to make you giddy with excitement. From electrical goods and clothing, to high price designer bags and accessories, the Harrods Boxing Day sale is well worth getting up early for

Fortnum and Mason
Once the Harrods sale has signaled the start of the Boxing Day sale season, all other luxury department stores follow suit. A favourite with the Royal Family (Prince Charles gives the Queen presents from Fortnum and Mason every year, don't you know), there are plenty of decadent items destined for the sale here. Hold onto your bargains tightly, as posh people can fight dirty too.

Harvey Nichols
Ever since Ab Fab saw Patsy and Edina stumbling out of their Mercades and into Harvey Nics, the store has been at the forefront of the London fashion scene. Can't afford to pay top dollar for all the lovely Marc Jacobs and Chloe items within? Wait until the Boxing Sales hit, and then you'll be laughing all the way to the till point.

Oxford Street
Oxford Street is the Mecca of all shopping destinations in London, and the Boxing Day sales are no different from any other time of year. Sure to be crammed with eager bargain hunters from early on in the day, you had better get your elbows ready for a lot of shoving and pushing as you race from Selfridges, Next, House of Fraser, John Lewis to Debenhams, clutching your shopping bags. Topshop and Marks and Spencer are well worth a look too, as the Oxford Street branches are their flagship stores, meaning they will have plenty of stuff no other branches do.

Regent Street
For a smaller but no less hectic selection of shops, Regent Street deserves a full day of sales shopping all to itself. Amongst all the high street brands, there are plenty of designer stores willing to give you plenty of money off, not to mention the delightful Liberty department store too.

Westfield Shopping Centre
Another venue opening its doors on Boxing Day to start its January sale early, Westfield Shopping Centre has discounts available in shops including Zara, House of Fraser, Foyles, Gap and much more.

Canary Wharf
Canary Wharf is open from 10am - 6pm on Boxing Day, when shops such as Reiss, Gap, Topshop and Next are starting their January sales early for bargain hunting fashionistas.

Brent Cross
Head north of the river for the Brent Cross winter sale, which features special offers from the likes of Fenwick, House of Fraser, Reiss, Gap and H&M.
