Day 1
the day before the interview, i was really physically gone to search where actually the firm located.. it took me 4 hours... turning here and there and missing in the city.. omg.. it was raining the day.. luckily there i din fall sick after the FIELD SEARCH?? haha.. thank god..
however, i learnt alot along the way in searching.. at least i get familiar with the dublin city and saw alot quite beautiful and stunning buildings which i did not find in the city...
after i went back to the starting point and i really start all over again after missing around for 2 hours.. omg.. i dun believe that i walk so long haha...but the next move i really got into the real track...
and i saw quite a number of accounting firm...which i might be have a chance to apply oso ^^
in the end.. after 3 hours plus of walking under the sprinkles sky.. finally reach haha...
actually after went back... i felt so happy ...cos i like the place alot.. coz.. there is railway station just opposite of the office.. haha and i went back and research.. and i got this....
actually it means wat??? it means i will never have the chance to take the train... haha... coz.. between the abbey street which is my bus stop... and the St. stephen green st. there is no track... so i need to WALK for 15 mins... WTF... so pity on me haha...
it's just fine... i continue to do my last mins revision on anything might be related to the interview.. i study the accounting and audit standard, the history of the firm, the programme they provided, almost study everything tat i could.. really mad that no one willing to help me eventhough i has asked.. shit... onli bed at 12 something in the midnight... really dunno wat i have studied.. coz in the end.. my head is empty... haha
The Day
wake up at 6.30am... actually i woke up earlier than the alarm set.. i think it's too nervous.. and i have no appetite.... haha... and it's snowing again... it's nicer the scenery and the snow is even fine..
however, after i reach at the bus stop.. it's 8.. i tot it's still early... i walk slowly to reach the location... but when i reach grafton... wtf.. it's 8.30.. i tot in the internet it says that onli taking 15 mins ... it's mean i walk damn slow o may be i just too short to walk this same distance haha...
but reach the EY at 8.40 thank god... still on time haha
haha.. actually that time i head to the reception counter with quite calm to inform that i am sitting for the assessment haha... and waitin till 9 for the starts..
there is another lady sitting for exam as well besides me... i could see that she has higher chance to get the job.. coz i think as i'm malaysian with poorer english, and fewer qualification, although she hold IT degree but she work in microsoft before.. but i have more related experience compared to her la... ^^
i was shock tat day which Marie told me that there will be an interview today... wtf i din cut my hair and my badly attired... luckily i have shaved haha.. but din cut finger nail... really blur today.. Whereas, im grateful because at least there is a platform to present myself instead i fail on the assessment...
The assessments are consists of 2 section, first on is aptitute test and another one is business case studies...
in the aptitute test consists of 3 segment, which is verbal test, numerical and diagramatical.... i would say that the first 2 are easy... but i really dunno wat the hell is the diagramatical test about.. i know it will test the logical... but there is some symbol which mean different...unlike wat normally we got in IQ test... i.e. * = change the color of large icon, ^ = change the 2nd figure color and 3rd figure color.. it's something like tat.... and all segments onli set 6 minutes for 8 questions.. so... time is kinda main issue for me to actually did it well.. hate myself why my understanding skill so bad... and reading it damn slow...
but the business case is worse... coz i mnot managed to finish the summary.... coz i spent 30 minutes to actually read the 8 pages of the report and only left 15mins to write and im too concentrate to write the first 2 point and...missed the clock actually is tik tok tik tok gone too fast.. and they din wait me to complete then take back all the sheets and laptop... hate myself even much now....
after a treat from MARIE for a cup of black coffeee as i requested.. a pee and took a long breath for few minutes.. my brain is back to action... perhaps functioning well d haha... but the next minutes is my interview with one of the senior manager who work here for 8 years.... he is also Malaysian named SIVA (indian la) from seremban haha... we talk alot.. i think i shud say... he asked alot.. and im thirsty tat time but not so dare to actually ask for the drink haha... which there are 2 bottle of water put before me hihi... he asked..

tat's it.. the assessment and interview... it's very easy actually and i felt relieved after the intense 3 hours... haha...
it's a tough journey for me to look for a job in different countries, different place, different company.. facing different ppl, different way of communication... but i am learning and will get over it... wish i could get a job just in this first attempt like my P2 in ACCA(god bless me.. and pray for me to get the job ok??? thx)
